SET IN GROUNDS of a hundred plus acres, is an imposing Edwardian mansion house, with glorious views across National Trust acres, woods and farm land. An hour from the centre of London, forty minutes from Heathrow, thirteen miles south west of Guildford and three miles south of Farnham, it is both close to towns, easy to get to and yet in stunning countryside. |

THE CHARRINGTON brewing family put up the house and designed it with an eye to entertaining their myriad of friends. The ballroom, with its minstrels’ gallery, drawing room, long gallery, panelled entrance hall and sweeping stair case and the bar (in what was the library) are all available either together for the largest parties or separately as the occasion demands.

The most frequent uses are for private parties or corporate dinners sometimes in conjunction with the Performing Arts Centre, or for weddings: the venue is licensed. |
