Roberts House Set in acres of parkland, with glorious specimen oaks, copper and weeping beech hard by the house, you cannot but be impressed by this light airy building and its stupendous views. There’s a magnificent “double decker” common room – imagine yourself in a liner where, instead of surveying vast expanses of sea, you look out over similarly vast tracts of national trust land. Off this central space there’s a kitchen for brewing up, or perhaps cooking for yourself and friends at weekends. On the other side is a television room with a quiet room close by, for those who want to work with others rather than in your rooms. All of you will have your own one of these, though day pupils will share with one other.
