I am often struck by the simple happiness of Frensham, a place where children can be themselves, where learning takes place in an atmosphere of friendly co-operation.   Or as one pupil put it "I can achieve here because it is not being forced out of me.   I am "me" and the pressures are so much less."  

What, sub-consciously perhaps, this girl has realised is that if children are well taught, recognised for whatever it is they are good at, be that in or out of the public eye, then they will thrive.   

Frensham is an amazing school where almost anything seems to be possible and we are all frequently stunned by the talents and charm of our community of individuals.   

So do come and see us.   You will find, as I hope will become apparent from this website, a school that walks a different path.   Our long tradition of respect for the individual and its concomitant acceptance and tolerance has created a culture in which self-expression flourishes.   Or as a parent put it "Frensham has a boundless enthusiasm for self-directed excellence".
