Frensham Heights has music for everyone in its new music school, its award-winning performing arts centre and its classical ballroom. The school attracts talented pupils from this country and abroad. Some go on to read music at university or study at a conservatoire or music college, some take part in formal school music, whilst others just want to make music and have fun.
We have orchestras & (voice) choirs, annual overseas tours, brass groups, flute choir, strings groups, class music (ages 3 -14) and GCSE/AS/A-level. We have whole school music productions of varying kinds and offer music technology. We host competitive music festival and summer schools and invitation orchestral play days. We have a fully staffed music school with more than twenty visiting musicians, some of whom have international careers,. We have professional concerts, concerts for beginners, serious rock musicians who have their own concerts, we have concerts at Christmas and at the ends of term, concerts here and concerts outside in the wider community and a June summer soiree. In other words music permeates every corner of school life.
